Center for Disability & Access

Provides accommodations and support for the educational development of students with disabilities.

Center for Community & Cultural Engagement

Provides help for students adjusting to campus life, which includes the following: academic planning, counseling, special class sections, financial assistance for tutoring and preparatory classes for economically disadvantaged students, campus coordination, and headquartering for ethnic student organizations (e.g., American Asian Student Association, Black Student Union, Inter-Tribal Student Association, Movimiento Estudiantil Chicana/o de Azatlan, and Pacific Islander Student Association).

Dream Center

The Dream Center, located in the Office of Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion, works holistically with undocumented students and mixed-status families for college access, continuing through graduation. The Dream Center (1) engages in specialized college outreach and access strategies, (2) provides individualized advising and scholarship support for current and future University of Utah undocumented students, (3) promotes campus-wide advocacy and trainings for University of Utah students, faculty, staff, and administrators, and (4) increases community-wide awareness of policies affecting current and future University of Utah undocumented students.

International Student & Scholar Services

Assists international students and scholars with visa and immigration matters, as well as cultural adjustment. The International Center also runs the Study Abroad program.

TRIO Programs

The legislatively defined mission of these programs is, " ...to identify qualified individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds, to prepare them for a program of post-secondary education, and to provide support services for such students who are pursuing programs of post-secondary education."

University Counseling Center

The UCC advocates for a philosophy of acceptance, compassion, and support for clients and clinicians. The UCC aspires to respect cultural, individual, and role differences as they continually work toward creating a safe and affirming climate for individuals of all ages, cultures, ethnicities, genders, gender identities, languages, mental and physical abilities, national origins, races, religions, sexual orientations, sizes, and socioeconomic statuses.

Utah MESA/STEP Consortium

Works to increase the number of underserved ethnic minority and female-identifying students who pursue course work, advanced study, and possible careers in mathematics, engineering, and science areas.

Veterans Support Center 

Provides support services for student veterans, service members, and their family members in enhancing academic success and serving as a liaison between the student veteran community and the university.
