One-on-One Counseling

We provide individual, one-on-one counseling to adults 18 years and older.

We support clients with a full range of concerns, including:


  • relationship or family concerns
  • depressed mood
  • anxiety
  • stress
  • coping with disabilities or medical illnesses
  • academic difficulties
  • adjustment issues
  • life transitions
  • interpersonal conflict/social concerns
  • grief
  • sexual orientation/identity issues
  • career development
  • homelessness, under/unemployment, and poverty

We serve both University of Utah students as well as members of the community.

Affordable & Accessible

It is our hope to be able to provide affordable and accessible care to Utahns.

In-person & Telehealth

We provide both in-person and telehealth services. 

45-50 Minute Sessions

Individual therapy sessions range from 45-50 minutes long.

Weekly, Bi-weekly, or Monthly

Therapy is available to be conducted weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

Flexible Meeting Schedule

Frequency of meeting is determined by you and your clinician according to your presenting therapeutic concerns and goals. 

 

The Clinic reserves the right to determine the appropriateness and availability of services for any and all clients based on available competencies, resources, training concerns, and other professional and ethical considerations. These may include primary presenting concerns, such as eating disorders, high suicidal risk, substance use, psychosis, substance abuse. Clients requesting services that are unavailable through the Clinic, or who are deemed to be more likely to have their needs best addressed elsewhere, will be referred to community resources.
