The University of Utah Counseling Psychology Program offers respecialization opportunities for individuals who hold a doctoral degree in psychology wishing to change their specialty to Counseling Psychology. This program is individualized, and individuals completing the program will be license-eligible in Utah. Individuals pursuing this training must meet all requirements of doctoral training in the Counseling Psychology Program, with credit being given for relevant coursework or requirements they have previously satisfied. Individuals completing the respecialization program will be awarded a certificate of successful completion in Counseling Psychology.
