Located in Milton Bennion Hall on the University of Utah campus, includes faculty offices, student work areas, clinical office/research areas and classrooms which are set up for audio/video supervision and training activities.
Includes in-patient and out-patient training experiences for practica and internships, providing experiences with various psychiatric, medical, and behavioral disorders in children, adolescents, and adults (including depression, conduct disorder, neurological impairments, obsessive-compulsive disorder, neuroses and psychoses, and other disorders).
The Neurobehavior HOME program is a coordinated health care model and center of excellence for meeting the medical and mental health needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities. They provide services to children and adults including primary care, psychiatric services, medication management, counseling services, positive behavior supports, interdisciplinary assessment and treatment of pediatric feeding disorders, and case management.
Operated by Valley Behavioral Health, the center is a successful example of a private/public partnership. It provides behavioral and educational services to students by conducting and supporting research into the cause(s) of autism and its eventual cure. They also assist families in coping with the challenges presented by autism, and train current and future teachers and professionals in best practices and procedures.
Includes day treatment, residential and out-patient training experiences for practica and internships with early childhood/preschool populations and their families, with a broad range of psychiatric, medical, and behavioral disorders.
